The new Half Dome approach shoe, together with the new Salathè model, was created for those who are looking for a product "from the car to the top". Named in honour of one of the most popular climbing walls, Half Dome is a high-tech shoe: designed for approach and via ferrata, it is also ideal for trekking/hiking. Half Dome presents itself as an approach shoe with a wrapping and precise fit, equipped with the innovative micrometric Velcro lacing. The system is patented by Zamberlan starting from the technology of the climbing shoe 080 Rapida, and allows to customize the volume and the tension of the fit with a simple touch, by adjusting the length of the strap. To increase the comfort of the Half Dome, the particular construction of the elastic tongue integrated with the collar: once the desired fit has been reached, the excess can be removed. Made of waterproof suede leather, the perfect combination of lightness and strength, the Half Dome is protected by a 360° rubber rand against abrasion from rocks and stones. The soft fitting footbed provides flexibility, and the Vibram® Pepe sole with MEGAGRIP® compound guarantees excellent grip on different types of terrain, even in wet conditions.
